The Slimline Saltwater Fixture includes a Coralife 18" Super UV fluorescent lamp. The Reptile Super UV Daylight Fluorescent Lamp is a full-spectrum daylight lamp that produces beneficial ultraviolet rays, 3%+ UVB and 7%+ UVA, which help process calcium for bone growth. Its color-enhancing, natural daylight simulation is also excellent for plant growth in natural vivariums.

Slimline Fixtures offer high-quality fluorescent lighting in compact, lightweight, convenient and ready-to-use units. They feature a slim profile of 18"L x 4"W x 1"H making them suitable for applications where space is limited.

Cheri S from Florida says: This is a good price for a fixture and a low level producing UVB light. If you have a sun loving reptile like an iguana, monitor, Uro or bearded dragon, we suggest you replace the light with a ZooMed 10.0, Iguana light or a Exo Terra 8.0 which have excellent UVB output for those speices that need the higher amounts. Be sure to remove the plastic lens cover that this fixture comes with as UVB can not go through the plastic and it will block all the good UVB from your reptile.
